Dr. Elsner started her professional career as a consultant and went on to become the managing director for Interpane International in France. During this period she was able to gain detailed experience in the field of international business and production technology. Later she decided to expand her academic career and returned to the Universität Karlsruhe (TH) as a researcher in the field of micro system technology and business process reengineering. During her time at the Institute of Production Technology she was responsible for a variety of projects concerning business process reengineering, micro system technology and quality management issues. In 2003 she completed her Ph.D. (Dr.-Ing) in Engineering and took on a responsible position in Sales & Marketing at the Stinnes AG in Berlin. In 2005 she was appointed Managing Director at the Hector School of Engineering and Management in Karlsruhe.
Her international work experience in diverse industries and her interdisciplinary education in engineering and management enable her to possess a very detailed understanding of the lecture programs offered at the HECTOR School.
